WVYSO European Tour Send-Off Concert

CHARLESTON, WV — On Sunday, June 10, 2012, the West Virginia Youth Symphony Orchestra performed their European Tour Send-Off concert at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences – West Virginia. The videos below represent the first half of their tour show. Molly is principal cellist. We depart on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, for the ten day tour.

2012 Bayer Symphony Sunday

CHARLESTON, WV — A 30-year annual tradition on the river lawn of the University of Charleston is Bayer Symphony Sunday. This year, Molly performed with the West Virginia Youth Symphony Orchestra as principal cellist.

Jeff Chiparo, my coach from the University of Charleston back in 1984-88, joined me on the water today in his single. You might see him in some of the video. The Women’s 8+ from the UC was also out on the water. Lots of debris from a lock flush – yuck.
